01 / Brief preparationSet a common operating basis
Describe hay or straw type, moisture or handling target, desired bale dimensions, working width and seasonal workload. Provide both machine quantity and the unit in which capacity is expressed. Bales per hour cannot be compared with tons per hour without the bale weight and crop conditions.
02 / Factory matchingAsk for the exact configuration
Request a model-specific specification sheet with PTO speed, PTO horsepower range, hitch arrangement, hydraulic and electrical connections. Keep a mini machine alternative separate from a larger square or round format. A supplier's general catalog is not confirmation that your requested arrangement is available.
03 / Commercial comparisonExpose exclusions
Break out the baler, starter wear parts, wrapping consumables, export packing, freight, taxes and coordination fees where applicable. Record the currency, quote date, validity, minimum order quantity and payment milestones. Ask whether delivery time starts at payment, drawing approval or another contractual event.
04 / Verification planningWrite acceptance into the conversation
Agree which dimensions, safety features, functions and documents will be checked, who performs that check and how discrepancies are resolved. Request an operating demonstration under stated forage conditions when appropriate; do not treat a demonstration video as evidence of your future field throughput.
